| Trouble logging in to netTryst (version 1.94 ) |
 |
| |
| Immediately after logging in, the error message "Sorry, your session has either timed out or you have tried to access a page within a restricted area" appears. |
This error appears if your browser or firewall has been configured to not accept cookies. netTryst requires cookies and to enable your browser to accept cookies from netTryst do the following (example is based on IE6):
Click on "tools" and then "Internet Options"
Select the tab "privacy"
In the section "Web Sites", click on "Edit"
In "Address of web site" type in "nettryst.7g.com.au"
Then select "Allow"
Verify that "nettryst.7g.com.au" has been added to list and that setting is "Always Allow"
If this does not solve the problem, it may be the firewall between your computer and the Internet that restricts the cookies. This is not likely if you are using a typical ISP such as Bigpond or AOL, but rather if you are trying to access netTryst from within a corporate intranet. If this is the case then you have to contact the appropriate IT department to allow cookies from our site.
